Great job on your sub-theme (the secondary theme under the main theme)! It sounds the same way mine did when I tried to transcribe it. It has no part in some places, then moves extremely fast in other places. I ended up listening to the original a few dozen times to figure it out right.

Glad to see someone else puts effort into the little details! Kudos!

Well done, sir! I loves da 8-bit!

I was actually listening to this earlier on iTunes, since the soundtrack is out now. Very accurate, and on point with the original!

Thanks! I tried this a while back, but couldn't make it sound nice until I got all this practice with PMD1. I owe a lot of it to all the practice I got, but also to some of my friends in the music community who gave me a bit of a hand with this particular song.

Bustin' does indeed make me feel good. Kudos, dude.

Well...

Don't take this as an overly harsh criticism, but your music needs more "OOMPH!", in my opinion.

I've listened to this track, and a few others on your submissions list. While the music DOES indeed follow the theme and style of Metroid, and is well written, this and a few of your other songs could use some sharper, accented tones.

Honestly, whenever I hear a traditional instrument in your music, it sounds weak and soft. And by weak, I don't mean low volume. It sounds like someone is purposely being light on the instrument (like "talking" as opposed to "announcing"). Talking is good for some instruments in some places, but for other deeper tones, a more forceful announcing sound is more realistic.

I know there's a limit to what you can do with synthetic instruments, but this is MY take on your music.

You do good work! Kudos!

This is what I need to hear! See I would have never known about this and I have you to thank. I will look into this and see what I can do to fix it. Hopefully when I do, it will take my music to the next level and we can turn that 8 into a 10.

Thank you again bro, and please continue to give your honest thoughts on my pieces.

Not bad.

Nothing too special, but it does take time ans accuracy to produce stuff like this. well done.

xoshaow3 responds:

thanks, for noting that it took time, and um when making the it the sounds came out much better but when i made it mp3 the entire like background just disappeared so i was kinda cranky about that, but I dont think i did too bad. Thanks for the review, I dont get too many, maybe like 7 in total?

Ummm...

To be honest, when I saw "orchestrated", I thought of a symphony orchestra, with brass and strings. To hear this after imagining that is a bit of a let down...

The music is a little slow, for future reference. You kind of lose the excitement.

Goog work, though, so I hereby dub thee... SIX OF TEN!

Well done

I know how much work goes into creating these things. Great job with the remix, I only wish there was a little more guitar.

Don't worry about the lyrics comments. You made it the way you wanted it, and it sounded Awesome.
